Panzer Stadium Unveiling, Full building from field

The new Lacrosse building overlooks the fields at Panzer Stadium on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018.

Shortly after the United States women's national team defeated England in the Women's World Cup semifinals, coach Erica Dambach announced from the Penn State women's soccer Twitter account that Penn State athletics will be hosting a watch party for the Women's World Cup Final.

The party will be at Panzer Stadium on Sunday, July 7. Kickoff will be at 11 a.m. ET with Dambach and the team slated to attend. Admissions for the event will be free.

Penn State alumnae Alyssa Naeher and Ali Krieger are on the squad that defeated the likes of France, England and fellow semifinalist Sweden. Naeher was integral for the semifinal win against England as she saved Steph Houghton’s penalty in the late stages of the game.
