Matthew McLaren’s senior season is nearing the end, but he isn't done contributing as he has been named EIVA Offensive Player of the week.

He has been awarded this honor in recognition of his outstanding performance in the last three victories for Penn State. McLaren posted 34 kills with a hitting percentage of .406, seven digs, four aces and three blocks as Penn State defeated St. Francis, Harvard and Sacred Heart.

Against the Red Flash he recorded 10 kills and two blocks with one solo stuff.

Facing the Crimson, McLaren managed to record 18 kills, a hitting percentage of .500 with a block and an ace.

In the latest win against Sacred Heart, the redshirt-senior recorded six kills with just one error on seven swings as he hit .714 and completed three aces and three digs.
