Penn State fans have seen the last of Tony Carr in Happy Valley.

The sophomore point guard announced during a press conference on Tuesday that he is entering the 2018 NBA Draft, and is hiring an agent.

This means Carr is not eligible to return to Penn State –– he’s locked into this year’s draft.

Carr capped off his breakout season by cutting down the nets in Madison Square Garden last week after he and the Nittany LIons defeated Utah for the NIT Championship.

The Philadelphia native led the Big Ten in scoring this season and was named to First Team All-Big Ten for his performance this season. He was also named an Honorable Mention AP All-American as well.

He will join Tim Frazier as the only former Nittany Lions playing in the world’s best league.

Carr is currently projected a second round pick in most mock drafts –– with some featuring him late in the first round –– but a lot is going to change over the next few months.
