Baseball v. Minnesota, Dugout

The Penn State dugout watches the game against Minnesota. The Nittany Lions lost the game 7-5 at Medlar Field on Sunday, March 24, 2019.

For the second straight week, Penn State’s game against West Virginia has been canceled due to weather. There are thunderstorms in the forecast in Morgantown, West Virginia tonight, leading to the cancellation.

The Nittany Lions will now have a day off before returning to action at home tomorrow evening against Lafayette at 6:30 p.m. Tomorrow’s weather is expected to be sunny with a high of 65 degrees, so don’t expect another cancelation.

Right hander Conor Larkin was scheduled to get the start for coach Rob Cooper on Tuesday night. Right hander Bailey Dees is tentatively scheduled to start tomorrow’s game, but it is unknown whether or not Cooper will rearrange his pitching lineup.
