For in-state students, skipping classes on a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday is equivalent to losing $94.88. For Tuesday and Thursday classes, that amount increases to $134.14.

The costs are even more expensive for out-of-state students who waste either $254.88 or $360.14 whenever they skip a class.

Students were impressed by those figures, but remained doubtful that even if all students knew the consequences that they would stop skipping class.
