On March 15, THON announced that Regina Duesler, the THON 2019 Finance director, will serve as the student-run philanthropy's 2020 executive director.
Duesler (senior-accounting and finance) has been involved with THON since her freshman year, and has held a variety of positions over the past four years. In 2016, she was a Finance Committee member, in 2017, she was a Finance Admin captain and in 2018, she was the Finance Assistant Treasurer captain.

“Since my first committee meeting freshman year, I have been in awe of the magic that is THON. THON brings students together and gives us an opportunity to make a tangible impact on the world,” Duesler said in her THON director biography.
Duesler is also involved in Penn State Lion Scouts.
As executive director, she will oversee THON's 16 committee directors. She will replace 2019 executive director Kelly McCready.
This year, THON raised $10,621,683.76 for pediatric cancer.
