While Mondays may be rough for many, the Berkey Creamery made April 2 a bit sweeter by announcing a new "Grilled Stickies" ice cream flavor, which is available for purchase in gallons in stores and online.

The cinnamon bun flavored ice cream is filled with sticky bun dough pieces and swirled with cinnamon streusel, according to the Creamery's website.

On its website, the Creamery said the ice cream's flavor will take tasters "back to their college days and nights."

Grilled stickies are a hallmark of State College's Ye Olde College Diner, which will likely close by the end of the month. However, The Diner's owner plans to continue selling grilled stickies across Central Pennsylvania.

This is the second flavor that the Berkey Creamery has released in 2018 — the first was "THON Golden Ribbon Ripple."

Founded in 1865, the Creamery makes dairy products, including over 100 ice cream flavors, for Penn State students, alumni and the State College community.
