Trips to Florida may be getting a little easier.
State College Airport added two direct, alternating flight routes to Orlando Sanford International and St. Pete-Clearwater International airports via Allegiant Air.
According to an official statement, the flight to Orlando will be offered twice a week starting Oct. 9 and continue every Wednesday and Saturday. Meanwhile, St. Pete-Clearwater flights will start Oct. 18 and depart every Friday and Monday.
In honor of the changes, the airline is offering exclusive discounts starting at $69 fares.
“We’re very excited to bring our brand of convenient, friendly service to State College with these two routes,” Drew Wells, Allegiant vice president of planning and revenue said in a press release, “and we’re very grateful for the partnership of Penn State University, as we have worked together over the years to reach this milestone.”
