'Smarter than you think' | Penn State's Shaver's Creek raises snakes, promotes education

Shaver’s Creek Environmental Center is a Penn State nature center that focuses on the development and care of animals.

Out of the various species taken care of, special care has been given toward one — snakes.

Gadsden, a yellow morph Timber Rattlesnake, is one of the snakes being raised, which has proved to be an eye-opening experience for the caretakers.
