I'm a fan of Project Runway, Zac Posen, flip flops, Top Model, Manolo heels, and spending money I don't have on clothes I can't pull off. I'm a big believer that the best style choice you can make is to be true to what you love. If you think oversized sunglasses make people look like overgrown insects, don't wear them. Trends are fun, but they don't last. Make sure your style does.

On that note, hi! My name is Mairys (pronounced like "my-wrist" minus the "t"; I know it takes some work, but I've come to love its complexity). I am what you would call a fashion fiend. I love it. I read it. I watch it. I breathe it. I'm one of those people that remembers life altering events by the outfits worn. I think of fashion not so much as a past time or a way to throw on a piece of cloth intricately shaped on your skin but as an art form. Yes, fashion is art. It's the ultimate way to express yourself and most people would be surprised how well they can utilize it. The right clothes can show the many aspects your chameleon-like qualities. Fashion can be as vivid and adventurous as the canvas that chooses to where it. You can go from Madonna circa `98 to Audrey Hepburn (aka my hero) chic in a cinch. The key to is finding out just who you are and flaunting it with all you've got.
