The wet and cold weather that defines State College's autumn is approaching faster than most of us want to admit, but with the right jackets you won't need to go cold this season. Choose to either save or splurge on one or more of these four jacket trends to stay fashion-forward, and warm.

Blazer

A blazer adds class to just about any ensemble and makes for an extra layer on a chilly day. Throw it over a favorite T-shirt and you'll still look like you are walking the streets of New York.

Plaid

Plaid used to be reserved for lumberjacks and cowboys, but this year it has been reinvented as this season's hot trend.

Military
