Shana Cox holds eight school records and is a nine-time Big Ten champion and seven-time NCAA All-American.

Throughout this year's indoor track and field season for the women's distance team, Penn State coach Beth Alford-Sullivan became frustrated.
Dominique Blake made a recruiting visit to Penn State in 2004, and her future teammates bragged about their recent indoor track and field title and showed off their conference championship rings.
