Yale Style Manual

An excellent starting point for learning about Web site design. This site demonstrates excellent techniques for handling long text documents. Notice that very few graphic elements appear on the first screen. (Result: Very fast apparent download times.) However, beautiful color graphics are placed well throughout the manual. (Result: An interesting and highly readable presentation of material).
