Greek Dancing inspires dancers

The crowd looks across the floor of the Bryce Jordan Center and sees a massive group of people moving as one holding multicolored greek letters.

Throughout the Interfraternity Council/Panhellenic Dance Marathon, the greeks have been drawing attention through their extravagantly choreographed and synchronized dance moves.

“I thinks it looks awesome,” Sigma Pi Fraternity member Matt Aquilino said while still dancing.

A couple of the seniors of the fraternity created the dances and taught the group the first day of THON, Aquilino (freshman-pre med) said. When the group dances, their dancer comes to the edge of the gate and dances along, Aquilino said.

"I think it gets our dancers really excited,” Delta Gamma member Maria Liberopoulos said.

Her sorority was taught two dances for THON when arriving the first day, Liberopoulos (sophomore-political science) said.
