Lady Lions drop to No. 11

The Lady Lions have dropped one spot in this week's polls, to No. 11, after losing to No. 2 Connecticut Thursday night, 67-52.  

Penn State managed to rebound nicely from the defeat by crushing Georgetown by a whopping 97-74, a team once ranked No. 25 this season.

The 7-2 Lions are the highest ranked Big Ten team in the AP polls. No. 15  Purdue and No. 20 Ohio State are the only other two Big Ten teams ranked.

Nebraska dropped in the rankings after barely surpassing then No. 24 Florida State and suffering a defeat against unranked Creighton.

Stanford remains No. 1, receiving 22 first place votes, while Connecticut is close behind in the number two spot with 16 first place votes.
