Big man Julian Moore commits to Penn State
Class of 2013 center Julian Moore has verbally committed to Penn State, according to Lions247. The 6-foot-9 prospect out of Germantown Academy holds offers from Boston University, Bucknell, Delaware and Drexel.
He is AAU teammates with Penn State class of 2014 verbal pledge Isaiah Washington. The two have had a good summer circuit together. Moore was at the Penn State Advanced Skills camp in mid-July and returned less than a week later for an unofficial visit.
Moore joins Shaler Area combo guard Geno Thorpe as Penn State’s second commit in this class. Brandon Austin, a top-100 recruit and the highest rated prospect who's pledged to Pat Chambers since he was hired by Penn State, decommitted from the program last week.
