How to Talk to Girls

It could be one of the most useful publications, full of do's, don't and def nots, to hit bookshelves in years, with secrets rivaling those found in the bestselling The Da Vinci Code (the factual parts).

It's the new essential book to dating for guys, "How to talk to Girls." And best yet, it's written by a 9-year-old, Alec Greven. The book offers simple words of advice on getting a girl to like you, from showing off a skill to not acting desperate.

Like all great works of literature, the book started out as a writing assignment and quickly grew into a national sensation.

Statistics adorn each page where Greven tries to convince his male audience to consider "regular" girls over "pretty" girls. Regular girls are less of a flight risk, he claims (I wish I'd known that when I was 9-years-old).

It's quick, it's simple, but most importantly, it's useful, only proving that dating and getting a girl to like you isn't as difficult as it seems. And for those crushes that don't work out, Greven puts it simply: "You have to be able to get over a crush. A crush is like a love disease. It can drive you mad."

Amen, brotha.
