The Anti-Shark?

Scientists have confirmed a second case of a pup being born without any male shark involved in the process -- essentially a virgin birth.

The two cases, involving aquarium sharks, puzzle scientists who are hypothesizing that female sharks are capable of virgin births when the population density decreases to a certain level and no mates can be found.

However, the pups born from only one set of DNA have an increased risk of cognitive malformations.

This all reminds me of the scene in Finding Nemo, where Bruce, the Great White shark, says.
