Penn State junior point guard Talor Battle has been named to the preseason Wooden Award candidate list.
The Wooden Award is given out annually to the nation's college basketball player of the year, and Battle is one of 50 players who made the cut.
Other Big Ten players named:
Kalin Lucas, Michigan State
Raymar Morgan, Michigan State
Robbie Hummel, Purdue
E'Twaun Moore, Purdue

Battle led the Big Ten in scoring in 2009, averaging 17.3 points per game, and was named first All-Big Ten.
Oklahoma's Blake Griffin won the award last season, and no Big Ten player has taken it home since Purdue's Glenn Robinson in 1994.
