Andrew Estes and Elizabeth Kernion were crowned the 2008 Homecoming king and queen, respectively, Friday night at the pep rally following the parade.

Estes and Kernion said they were both "shocked" by the win.

"It's all been a lot of fun," said Kernion, as she and Estes allowed themselves to be embraced by enthusiastic family and friends. "Tonight's been a really good end to a fun week."
