ESPN.com is reporting LSU quarterback Ryan Perrilloux has been kicked off the team after he failed a drug test.
Perrilloux -- who was listed second on the team's depth chart behind Matt Flynn -- led a troubled career as a Tiger. He was suspended three times before LSU head coach Les Miles dismissed him early Friday. Perrilloux was expected to start for the defending national champions after Flynn was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in last weekend's NFL draft.
LSU has five other quarterbacks currently listed on its roster. Three of which are freshmen and none have played in a game for the Tigers. The longest tenured quarterback is junior Andrew Hatch.
