Pryor cancels Penn State visit

As most of you reading this are probably well aware, Terrelle Pryor is scheduled to visit Penn State this weekend. Well, he was scheduled to visit. That's apparently no longer the case.

Pryor, the nation's No. 1 recruit, told SI.com that he'll be headed to Michigan on Friday instead of State College.

It's probably not a total shock, given that Pryor has said in previous published reports that Penn State is off his list. But the fact that he still had a visit left open room enough for some hope among Nittany Lion fans that he'd have a last-second change of heart.

It appears that the efforts of Tom Bradley, the defensive coordinator and recruiter in Western Pa., went for naught this time. At least, it looks like that at the moment. Who knows what will happen next with this kid? He told SI.com that he just added Louisiana State to his list and had to purchase a second cell phone "because things have been so crazy."

The Roster

Travis Johnson Mug

Travis Johnson is a senior majoring in journalism and political science and a football reporter for the Collegian. He's previously covered the wrestling, baseball and women's golf teams. Travis loves to drive fast with the windows down and the rock 'n' roll blaring — even in the winter.

Josh Langenbacher Mug

Josh Langenbacher has written for the Collegian since his junior year and covered the women's track and field team. He's hoping he doesn't have to rescue any colleagues from telephone booths in the HUB — or anywhere else, for that matter.

Andrew Wible Mug

Andrew Wible is a junior majoring in journalism and a football reporter for the Daily Collegian. He has also covered the men's and women's basketball teams. A confused soul, he listens to rap, plays golf and hunts. And like any true Pennsylvanian, he treats the Monday after Thanksgiving as a national holiday.
