Here's some leftover material from interviews this week that we won't be finding space for in the paper.
Kevin Kelly ... on when he starts thinking about field goals:
"It all depends on situation, how the offense is rolling. I do look at if we've been throwing the ball deep, running the ball. ... If we get a punt, I'll start warming up if we get to the 30 or 40."
Mark Rubin , who's on kickoff coverage ... on Kevin Kelly's kickoff performance this season:
"No matter how well we cover, if he kicks the ball out of the end zone, they get the ball at the 20."
Dan Connor ... on how the losses to Michigan compare throughout his career:
"I remember have the same feeling last time. For some reason they seem harder than other's for one reason or another. We have to grow up as a team. You have to get over losses like this. It's going to be tough reading the papers and seeing the stuff and getting crticized big time. You can't get caught up in a loss like this."
Connor ... on the weekly stadium clean-up punishment:
"It's tough to wake up at 7:30 after a game and you're beat up. That's all Coach Paterno's business. You do what he says and you keep your mouth shut. You go out and go to work. You get up and go to work. It's tough but you do it. No one complains."
From Ron Zook's press conference:
Saturday's game will be the first Big Ten game played in renovated Memorial Stadium. The stadium features new North end zone bleachers.
Check out the paper,
