Kicking off Michigan weekend

Hey all,

In about 15 minutes, we'll be leaving for Ann Arbor, Mich. We're going to try and update the blog as we carve our way through Pennsylvania, Ohio and Michigan. Hopefully we can find wireless Internet at the reststops. Should be a fun trip. We're pumped.

And seeing as it should be an eventful weekend, we're going to keep things fun around the Footblog. So we're bringing back an oldie but a goodie. It's a video of Chad Henne's high school coach Jim Cantafio exploding during a pregame speech. In fairness, Cantafio is a pretty nice guy; I spoke to him this week. And over the years playing sports, I've seen plenty of coaches do and say some crazy things in the heat of the moment. But doesn't discount just how funny the video really is.

Anyway, we hope you enjoy the Footblog this weekend.

Take care,
Mark

The Roster

Travis Johnson Mug

Travis Johnson is a senior majoring in journalism and political science and a football reporter for the Collegian. He's previously covered the wrestling, baseball and women's golf teams. Travis loves to drive fast with the windows down and the rock 'n' roll blaring — even in the winter.

Josh Langenbacher Mug

Josh Langenbacher has written for the Collegian since his junior year and covered the women's track and field team. He's hoping he doesn't have to rescue any colleagues from telephone booths in the HUB — or anywhere else, for that matter.

Andrew Wible Mug

Andrew Wible is a junior majoring in journalism and a football reporter for the Daily Collegian. He has also covered the men's and women's basketball teams. A confused soul, he listens to rap, plays golf and hunts. And like any true Pennsylvanian, he treats the Monday after Thanksgiving as a national holiday.
