Outback Bowl:
Penn State vs. Kentucky

Penn State found a way to do what few other teams have done -- stop Kentucky's "Air Raid" offense. That, in addition to four Travis Forney field goals, helped the Nittany Lions to a 26-14 Outback Bowl victory New Year's Day at Raymond James Stadium.

Game five: Penn State vs. Minnesota
For the second weekend in a row, Penn State's offense struggled mightily, but this time its defense and special teams played well enough to preserve victory at the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome in Minneapolis.

Game four: Penn State vs. Ohio State
For the second time in three years, Penn State's drive for a national championship stalled at Ohio Stadium.

Game three: Penn State vs. Pittsburgh
The Nittany Lions needed a late defensive surge on the road to hold off a feisty Pittsburgh Panther squad by a 20-13 count
