Baseball, the Backstreet Boys, the Philadelphia Phillies, these are the interests of a 10-year-old boy a 10-year-old boy who is carrying a weight on his shoulders that most people cannot even imagine.
Getting ready for Thon A "Love Never Fails" ice sculpture, hundreds of white and silver balloons, and "kick-off" Hershey bars are just a few of the many things that greeted attendees of the Interfraternity Council/Panhellenic Dance Marathon kick-off dinner.
Last year, the Interfraternity Council/Panhellenic Dance Marathon moved to Rec Hall for more space; however, the number of interested participants continues to grow and this growth has led to new action.
Various items will be up for sale at the Penn State Interfraternity Council/Panhellenic Dance Marathon Annual Mall Auction.
The Penn State Interfraternity Council/Panhellenic Dance Marathon 2000 is exactly three months away and the first and only canning weekend for this semester begins today.
As one of University Park's largest events, the Interfraternity Council/Panhellenic Dance Marathon has been drawing student groups from all over the campus since 1973. But for the first time last year, all 19 Commonwealth Campuses participated in Thon as well.
