Former Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky is set to speak Monday on NBC’s Today Show. The morning show’s official Twitter account, @todayshow, tweeted the news at 11:51 a.m. Friday.
The tweet reads “Monday on TODAY...Jerry Sandusky speaks out in exclusive interview” and includes a link to a NBC press release. A call to NBC media relations confirmed Sandusky’s appearance on the show.
After being convicted of 45 counts of child sex abuse last summer, Sandusky was sentenced to 30 to 60 years in prison in October.
