A series of three forums will be held on March 21 and 22 to gather input from the university community about the search for Penn State’s next president, according to a Penn State News press release.
The firm retained by Penn State to find the next president, Isaacson, Miller, will be asking for feedback on what characteristics the university community would like to see the next president embody, according to the release. It will also be seeking input on the opportunities and challenges the university’s next president will face, according to the release.
The forums are open to students, faculty and staff and those attending the forums should come prepared with input, the release said.
Topics attendees should consider are the challenges and opportunities Penn State will face in the next 10 years; the qualifications and experience the next president should have; and anything else the Trustee Presidential Selection Council and the University Presidential Search and Screen committee should keep in mind, according to the release.
The forums will be held on March 21 from 1-2 p.m. in the HUB Auditorium of the HUB-Robeson Center and 6-7 p.m. in Room 105 of Forum Building, according to the release.
There will be an additional forum on March 22 from 2:15-3:15 p.m. in Foster Auditorium of the Paterno Library, and that forum will stream online to Commonwealth Campuses, according to the release.
