The State College Spikes announced that “Mountain Man” from A&E’s hit reality show "Duck Dynasty" will appear at the State College Spikes game on July 26, according to a press release issued by the team. “Mountain Man” will take part in the game entertainment, and meet and greet fans, the release said.
“Mountain Man,” also known as Tim Guraedy, is a neighbor of the Robertsons, the Louisiana family around which the show Duck Dynasty is based, and is the only semi-regular member of the cast who is not a family member or employee of Duck Commander the release.
He is known for his slow talking and owns an air-conditioning repair business, according to the release.
In addition, the release said “Mountain Man” will serve as guest public address announcer and fans who catch “fowl” balls will receive Duck Dynasty and Spikes prizes.
The concession stands will serve frog legs, a favorite food of the Robertsons, according to the release.
The game will be on Friday, July 26 at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. The Spikes will host the Auburn Doubledays (Washington Nationals). The gates will open at 6 p.m. and the game will begin at 7:05 p.m.
