The artist formerly known as K. Dot is making his way to the Bryce Jordan Center this April.
Hip-hop recording artist Kendrick Lamar is set to perform at the venue on April 22.
Student tickets for the event go on sale today at noon, according to a press release from the BJC. The tickets for the student presale are available at the BJC, Eisenhower Auditorium and the Penn State Downtown Theatre Centeronly.
Student tickets are limited and cost $14.50 for University Park students, courtesy of the University Park Allocation Committee.
Hailing from Compton, Calif., Lamar gained popularity through the Internet ––garnering collaborations with such notable artists like Dr. Dre, Drake and Lil Wayne.
Kendrick Lamar's long-awaited album, “good kid, m.A.A.d city,” was released Oct. 2012 and was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America, while Hip Hop DX named Lamar "Emcee of the Year" for their 2012 Year End Awards.
Lamar performed the lead single’s "Swimming Pools (Drank)" and "Poetic Justice" on Saturday Night Live early this year.
