Penn State students can expect to see Kendrick Lamar perform at the Bryce Jordan Center on April 22, the venue announced Monday.
Tickets will go on presale for students at noon Tuesday at the Bryce Jordan Center, the Eisenhower Auditorium and the Penn State Downtown Theatre Center only, according to a press release. General Admission tickets as well as reserved tickets will go on sale Wednesday at 10 a.m. on Ticketmaster as well as the Altoona Campus Ticket Outlet. General public tickets will be sold for $29.50 and $14.50 for University Park students courtesy of the University Park Allocation Committee, according to the release.
Lamar is known for working with hip-hop stars such as Drake, Snoop Dogg, 50-cent and Dr. Dre. The rap artist has also compared himself to Tupac Shakur, according to his website. The Compton, Ca., native is known for his songs such as “Swimming Pools (Drank)” and “Poetic Justice” featuring Drake.
