I want to give special thanks to the moralers at the Interfraternity Council/Panhellenic Dance Marathon this year.
I was one of the many parents of dancers who did not get into the Bryce Jordan Center and was unable to provide the support she expected. A lot of responsibility therefore fell on the moralers this weekend, and they did an outstanding job.
My daughter's moraler went above and beyond to make sure she was having a great THON experience. I was convinced my dancer had the best moraler at Penn State, but I am happily finding out that every parent I speak to thinks the same thing.
I am extremely proud of what the students at Penn State accomplished at THON, but even more than that, I am so grateful for the unsung heroes of THON, the moralers.
But it is worth noting to the officials who organize THON next year to please get the attendance/PASS system worked out. It was especially unfair for students who worked so hard for their particular organizations to not be able to get into the BJC.
