THON should work out line problems

We drove a few hours to support our son who was dancing. We arrived Saturday early afternoon and the PASS system was down. We made the mistake of stepping out to the car and the Bryce Jordan Center closed.

We then waited two hours and eventually got back in.

We stayed until midnight and the PASS system was still down. We then arrived at 5 a.m. Sunday, waited nearly three hours in serious cold. Somehow we survived the mob scene when the line was moved to the entrance, luckily no one was injured. The Interfraternity Council/Panhellenic Dance Marathon is a great event but has some logistical errors.

Maybe just keep the weekend for THON families and students, if necessary.

We left disappointed and our son, while tired and happy about the total, was disappointed we could not be with him.
