Swedish singer, songwriter and DJ, Basshunter, has been confirmed to play at Level’s Nightclub on Tuesday, March 12, said VIP Manager Tim Crockett.
Crockett said students are extremely excited for this event and tickets are selling quickly.
“We’ve sold more tickets faster than we [did] for Adventure Club tickets,” he said.
Born as Jonas Erik Altberg, the DJ began creating music with the computer program Fruity Loops and releasing albums under the name Basshunter in 1999.
In 2006, he signed with Extensive Music/Warner Music and released his first single “Boten Anna.”
The DJ has had four number one hits, including “Now You’re Gone” and “All I Ever Wanted.”
Crockett said young adults identify with Basshunter’s music and it reminds them of good times.
“His songs resonate with students,” he said.
