The University Park Undergraduate Association announced in a press release that it is now accepting registration for candidacy for the 2013 election year.
The registration period runs from today until Friday, March 1. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday in 332 HUB, the Election Commission will be open to assist any undergraduate student through the registration process, so he or she is eligible to participate in the upcoming election.
Undergraduate students in their freshmen to junior year can run for president or vice president, or as a representative of the legislative assembly.
According to the release, UPUA strives throughout the academic year to work closely with faculty and students to provide students with a good college experience.
