Lady Gaga cancels remainder of tour, including State College date

Penn State fans of Lady Gaga expecting to partake in the songstress's "ball," will no longer have March 2 to look forward to.

Gaga’s “Born This Way Ball" tour has been canceled and will not be rescheduled, Bryce Jordan Center Sales and Marketing Director Bernie Punt confirmed Wednesday.

This cancellation follows Gaga’s announcement yesterday, which called for a four-show postponement in various American cities. Gaga was scheduled to perform at the Bryce Jordan Center on March 2.

A statement from Gaga’s “Little Monsters” website stated that:

"Live Nation Global Touring has confirmed that the remainder of the Lady Gaga Born This Way Ball performances have been cancelled.

After additional tests this morning to review the severity of the issue, it has been determined that Lady Gaga has a labral tear of the right hip. She will need surgery to repair the problem, followed by strict down time to recover. This unfortunately, will force her to cancel the tour, so she can heal."

Refunds for those with tickets to the canceled performance will be available at point of purchase starting Feb. 14.
