Sue Paterno will speak with Katie Couric in an exclusive interview that will air on Couric’s nationally-syndicated talk show, “Katie," according to a press release from the talk show issued Monday.
The interview is scheduled to appear in the Monday, Feb. 11 episode of “Katie,” according to the release.
Couric visited Paterno -- widow of Penn State’s former head football coach Joe Paterno -- in Paterno's home in State College, according to the release.
Couric will also host Paterno in-studio for her first national interview since the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse case broke and since her husband passed away from lung cancer in January of 2012, according to the release.
Sandusky was found guilty on 45 counts of child sex abuse in June and is currently serving a 30 to 60 year prison sentence.
Last month, Couric spoke to Manti Te'o in another highly-publicized interview about the hoax involving the Notre Dame linebacker and a faked girlfriend.
