A female student reported a sexual assault involving forcible rape that occurred on campus in early December, Penn State Police said.
A female student reported the incident on Wednesday. Police said she was sexually assaulted by a male student she knew, and the incident occurred between 3:30 and 6:30 a.m. on Dec. 1 in an East Halls residence hall.
The female reported an incident that involved forcible rape, aggravated indecent assault, sexual assault and indecent assault, police said.
Police said that the female student did not report any specific reason why she delayed reporting the incident, but police still encourage reporting even a while after a sexual assault occurs.
