A trial was postponed Monday morning for a man charged with harassment, statutory sexual assault and rape, according to Centre County Court Administration.
Fahron Rosemond, 23, of Queens Village, N.Y., was charged in connection with the rape of a 13-year-old person on May 19, 2011, according to court documents.
Police identified Rosemond based on the child’s descriptions of the man, who she or he said raped him or her on May 13, 2011, police said. It is unclear whether the 13-year-old is a boy or a girl, according to court documents.
Rosemond was also charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct for an incident on Jan. 31, 2012, according to court documents. Rosemond was charged with punching a woman in the mouth, according to court documents.
After the assault, the woman told police Rosemond punched her in the mouth while engaged in an argument and then fled the apartment, police records show.
At the time of the assault, the woman's top front two teeth were knocked out, leaving her mouth and shirt bloody, and was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center, according to court documents.
It is unclear when the next court date will be scheduled.
