A man was knocked to the ground and punched in the face Wednesday after leaving The Gingerbread Man, 130 Heister St., and sought treatment at Mount Nittany Medical Center, the State College Police Department said.
The incident occurred on the 300 block of East Beaver Avenue and was reported to police at 1:39 p.m. Wednesday, police said. Police said the investigation is ongoing.
It is unknown if the man was transported by ambulance to the hospital or arrived there himself, police said.
