The Penn State men’s gymnastics team had an amazing first competition this past weekend. They posted the top team score, not only in the Big Ten, but also for the whole country. Several members of the team were honored by the Big Ten for their spectacular performances winning both Big Ten Gymnast and Freshman of the Week honors.
Yet the Daily Collegian has had no articles about the team. With the NCAA championships being held here at Penn State in April, there is a lot of interest in the team this season.
I expect at least some coverage for a team that already has won 12 national championships and may very well get another one this year.
