Next month, dubstep group Adventure Club will bring to State College the awe-inspiring bass lines and drumbeats that followers of the genre have come to know.
Levels Nightclub’s Jason Weinstein confirmed that the Canadian duo will be performing at 10 p.m. Feb. 6 at the downtown venue, 420 E. College Ave.
Adventure Club is well-known for its hits, “Crave You,” and “Rise and Fall,” the latter for which the duo teamed up with Krewella — another group with a quickly-growing fan base, for the popular track.
Rolling Stone magazine called Adventure Club’s unique brand of dubstep a combination of “chainsaw synths with delicate vocals and surprisingly upbeat melodies.”
With such a sound, concertgoers should expect an amazing show, Weinstein said.
“We hosted Adventure Club New Year's Eve with Steve Aoki in Atlantic City and it was great,” Weinstein said via email.
Tickets for the event go on sale at noon Wednesday.
