Man arrested at The Palmerton

A man was charged Tuesday with burglary, criminal trespass, open lewdness and indecent exposure in connection with an incident where police said he entered two apartments while naked and masturbating, according to State College Police documents.
Chase M. Carmody, 21, of San Diego, Calif., was found by police in the below-street-level garage of The Palmerton , 316 W. College Ave., after he had confronted two females in two different apartments in the building, police said.
Police arrived at about 1:03 a.m. Tuesday after a man was reported entering an apartment and masturbating, police said. While police searched the building, a male with the same description was reported entering another apartment naked, police said.
Officers then spotted the man running down a stairwell and chased him until they apprehended him, police said.
The female who first reported the man told police she was in bed when she turned on her light and found Carmody on the floor with his pants down and masturbating. The man then fled the apartment, police said.
The other female told police that she was sitting in her living room when Carmody opened the front door and walked into the apartment naked. The woman confronted the man and he fled the apartment, police said.
