Two men were charged Tuesday with the possession and selling of heroin and synthetic marijuana at the Imperial 400 Motel, 118 S. Atherton St., according to a release issued by the State College Police Department.
Nathan Andrew Banks, 28, of Williamsport, is charged with three counts of possession with the intent to delivery/delivery, two counts of criminal conspiracy to possession with the intent to deliver/delivery and three counts of possession of a controlled substance, according to the release.
Daniel Hakim Dade, 31, of Duryea, is charged with one count of possession with the intent to delivery/delivery, two counts of criminal conspiracy to possession with the intent to deliver/delivery, and three counts of possession of a controlled substance.
Banks and Dade appeared to be in the area solely for the distribution of the controlled substances, according to the release.
Centre County Drug Task Force officers and agents of the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General seized 75 bags of heroin and about 12 grams of synthetic marijuana, according to the release. The heroin was worth a street value of $1,875 and the marijuana was worth $200, according to the release.
Police also seized cell phones and $915 in cash, according to the release.
The men were arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Thomas Jordan and had their bail was set at $50,000 each, according to the release. They both are being held at the Centre County Correctional Facility, according to the release.
