Two people were transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center after a two vehicle accident occurred at about 10 p.m. Thursday on Earlystown Road, the State College Police Department said.
The accident occurred after a man traveling at a high rate of speed swerved into another vehicle causing them both to go off the road, police said.
The driver of the car traveling at a high rate of speed was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center, after which he was life-flighted to Altoona Regional, police said. The extent of the driver’s injuries are unknown, police said.
The female passenger of the vehicle that was hit received a head laceration as a result of the accident, police said. She was also transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center and received CT scans for her injuries, police said.
