Documentary to highlight 'A Year in Happy Valley'

A new documentary highlighting the 2012-13 Penn State academic year is currently in the works.

According to a press release, “365 Days: A Year in Happy Valley” will highlight the first school year after the Jerry Sandusky sex abuse case broke. It also highlights life after the release of the Freeh Report.

In the press release, Director Erik Proulx said, “We’re delving beyond the ‘sound bite culture’ the media has created to hear the real story from students and locals.”

The film began shooting on Sept. 1 and is scheduled to end Aug. 31 exactly one full year, as the title promises. “365 Days” won’t be released until Dec. 25, but the first trailer is now available at www.365daysthefilm.com.
