Pennsylvania State Police arrested a man last week that they say dealt heroin to a confidential informant in the downtown State College area.
The man is referred to as John Doe in court documents but is believed by police to be Elijah Moorer, of Pleasant Gap, according to court documents. The man is also known by the alias “Max,” police said.
The man is charged with multiple counts of violating the controlled substance, drug, device and cosmetic act, according to court documents.
The man was involved in a series of controlled drug buys with Pennsylvania State Police, the first of which occurred July 23 when a confidential informant bought four bags of heroin worth $60 from the man on Walnut Street, police said. The second buy was of five bags of heroin and one bag of cocaine worth $180, which the man sold to a confidential informant on Walnut Street on Aug. 24, police said.
The third buy occurred on Sept. 27 when the man sold eight bags of heroin worth $140 to a confidential informant on Calder Way between Pugh Street and Allen Street, police said.
The final buy occurred Oct. 11 when a confidential informant bought two bags of cocaine worth $100 from the man at a Uni-Mart located on West College Avenue, police said.
The man’s preliminary hearing was continued until Dec. 12, according to Centre County Court Administration.
