The preliminary hearing for former Penn State Interim Senior Vice President for Finance and Business Gary Schultz, former Athletic Director Tim Curley and former university president Graham Spanier will be held at 9 a.m. Dec. 13 in Courtroom One of the Dauphin County Courthouse in Harrisburg, said Jim Koval, Communications Manager of the Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts.

District Judge William Wenner will preside over the hearing, which will go into Dec. 14 if necessary, Koval said.

Curley and Schultz were arraigned Nov. 2 on charges of child endangerment, obstruction of justice and conspiracy to commit the previously mentioned crimes, as previously reported. Curley and Schultz were charged last November with charges of perjury and failure to report in relation to the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse case, as previously reported.

Spanier was arraigned last week on charges of perjury, child endangerment, obstruction of justice and failure to report suspected abuse, as well as conspiracy to commit the previously mentioned crimes in relation to the Sandusky case, as previously reported.

Sandusky was convicted in June on 45 counts of child sex abuse, and was sentenced in October to serve 30 to 60 years in prison.
