A woman reported being sexually assaulted over the weekend on East Beaver Avenue, the State College Police Department said.
The woman reported the assault Monday at about 11:30 a.m., police said. The woman reported she was sexually assaulted by a known male near the 100 block of East Beaver Avenue at an unspecified time over the weekend, police said.
Police said the investigation is ongoing and could not give any more specific details about the sexual assault.
It is unknown if either of the people involved in the incident were Penn State students.
The incident is the fourth sexual assault reported since Aug. 27.
