A woman reported Tuesday that she was robbed along West Whitehall Road early Tuesday morning, the State College Police Department said.
The woman told police she was walking near 748 W. Whitehall Rd. at about 2:30 a.m. a male approached her and told her to give him all she had, police said. The woman then gave the man $40 in cash and her cell phone, police said. The incident is currently under investigation, police said.
The woman was not physically assaulted and the man did not brandish a weapon, police said.
Police said they do not have any suspects, and are asking that if anyone has any information on the incident, they call 814-234-7150.
The incident is listed as a strong-armed robbery, police said.
